Hi. I'm Tanja. I'm from Slovenia.
I'm 21 years old and I'm a student, majoring in pharmacy. This is my third year (3 more to go, if I'm lucky...). I used to really like chemistry, but now that I have 15 different chemistry-related subjects every year, I don't have the same feelings for it anymore.
My first baking attempt was in seventh grade when I made blueberry muffins and some cookies. My baking ''thing'' started in June 2009 though, seven years later, when I got Krystina Castella's cookbook, Crazy About Cupcakes. Baking was supposed to be my method of stress relief. When I baked my first cupcakes, I was hooked. And then I discovered Martha Stewart...
I started this blog in December 2009 as a way to write down all the recipes that I've ever tried, including photographs. I also wanted to do something creative, since there is no creativity involved in studying pharmacy. I have a strange need to try and document all the recipes in my cookbooks.
This is my cat. He is actually human, this is just a clever disguise. He is the most awesome cat-human in the world.

Came across your blog randomly. I'm your newest follower. :) Lovely bog, love the colours of your design, your photos and of course your sweet posts, nom nom. Making me hungry and wanting to lick the screen.
Made me laugh when you said your cat is a human. In 2000 I had a kitty from 6 weeks old. She wasn't a cat she was a squirrel. Seriously, my cat thought she was actually a squirrel. She used to bust through the cat flap at 1,583mph making weird squirrel noises as she hovered the house looking for me. Then dive on me, butt in face 'hellos' then she'd do the alternating paw stomping while licking my hands. lol. Sadly she's no longer with us but such fond memories. Your story reminded me of her and her silly ways.
